RPA report the basis of stakeholder consultation on MCCPs in electrical and electronic equipment
RPA has supported the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KEMI) by preparing a two-phase impact assessment which looked into the implications of a restriction on the use of medium-chained chlorinated paraffins (MCCP) in electrical and electronic equipment under Article 6(1) of the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU). RPA’s report, completed in 2016, forms the basis of a consultation exercise which KEMI has recently initiated and which invites stakeholders to comment on RPA’s findings.
