Elizabeth Daly
Elizabeth Daly, a Principal Consultant at RPA, has a BSc in Environmental Sciences and an MA in Environment, Policy and Society. Her experience covers evaluations, the assessment of impacts and the analysis of options and scenarios. She has worked on a range of topics in the environmental field including water quality, abstraction licensing, green infrastructure, coastal adaptation and flood risk management.
She has undertaken numerous benefit assessments to identify the water quality related impacts of mine water treatment schemes for former coal and metal mines across England, Wales and Scotland. Other studies include an assessment of the mechanisms for compensating land managers who implement natural flood management and a project to identify new income streams so that landowners can achieve economic sustainability whilst maintaining wetland habitats. Elizabeth’s evaluation experience includes a review of the first round of biodiversity duty reporting in Scotland and a study to assess rollback and leaseback carried out as part of the Coastal Change Pathfinder Projects. She has also undertaken evaluations of several grant funding programmes.
As part of her work, Elizabeth regularly carries out desk-based and face-to-face engagement. She has experience of developing online surveys for businesses, organising and facilitating workshops and drop-in sessions, and carrying out semi-structured interviews. She has a PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate in Project Management and has managed projects for a range of clients.
